Twitter

Twitter is the newest 2.0 tool in use, and asks the simple question “what are you doing?” It is a service that allows for short messages to be sent to other twitter users.  Twitter can be accessed by cell phones and  using the web. For an intro watch this video:

Twitter is a microblogging service with the ability to ask questions, communicate, and network quickly.  The use of twitter in libraries is still up to debate.  What can we do with this technology?  Is it a quick way to post announcements, talk about new books, and post links?  Or is it something else?
